From Family With Love

It was 4:00 AM on a Tuesday during our first parental leave
Bella was pumping breastmilk, Rei was flipping omelets, and baby T was screaming for attention. To be completely honest, there were a few tears shed by everyone in the room. And somewhere in that beautiful, exhausted chaos,

One of us reached for the coffee.
That cup was our survival tool. Running on no sleep and pure love for a tiny human will do that to you. But as we sat there in the dark, something bigger came into focus. We had spent our entire lives in Indonesia, surrounded by some of the most extraordinary coffee on earth, long before we ever knew what extraordinary coffee was. From the misty highlands of Toraja to the volcanic slopes of Bali, from the deep forests of Sumatra to the ancient estates of Java, coffee wasn't a trend we discovered. It was the air we grew up breathing. It was in our grandparents' homes, in the morning markets, in every gathering that mattered.
And most of the world had no idea.
That felt like something worth doing something about.
So when our first baby arrived, we started roasting. Now we have two babies and a roastery, and most mornings still start at 4:00 AM, just with better coffee.
We Roast Every Batch Ourselves

In small quantities, the way it deserves to be done.
Each origin from across the Indonesian archipelago is roasted entirely on its own terms. We study what each bean needs, its attitude, its process, its character, and we coax out its true potential rather than steamrolling over it. There is a fine line between bold and burnt, and the big names have been crossing it for years. We don't go there.
Every batch ships within days of roasting. With two kids under our roof, nothing sits around waiting, and neither does our coffee.
For us, roasting is far more than a hobby. It is a craft built on care, consistency, and a deep respect for the bean. We follow the same slow, intentional approach that Indonesian farmers have passed down for generations: the ones who tend their crops at altitude, who read the weather and the soil with their hands, who never rush what isn't ready. There are no shortcuts in a great harvest. There are no shortcuts in raising a child, either. You show up every day, you pay close attention, and you trust that patience will do what speed never could.
We carry that same philosophy into every single roast.
Giving Back to Community
We believe that great coffee must give back to the place it comes from.
That's why 10% of every sale goes directly to Solar Chapter, a non-profit bringing clean water to remote villages across Indonesia. They deserve our support. When you buy a bag, you're part of that, too.
The Family Behind the Beans
So whether you're a fellow parent running on two hours of sleep, a coffee lover tired of paying a premium for something over-roasted and underwhelming, or someone who wants their morning cup to carry a little meaning: we're glad you're here.
This coffee has been a long time coming. Generations, actually.
We just get to share it with you now.
With Love,
Rei & Bella
